Compare 2026 Porsche Cayenne Vs 2025 Porsche Cayenne

The 2026 Porsche Cayenne has been upgraded behind the scenes, with an advanced infotainment system.

While the 10.9-inch passenger display and the 12.3-inch center touchscreen remain the same, an integrated app store called the Porsche App has appeared, offering opportunities to download third-party apps. Also newly added is Amazon Alexa. The Bose and Burmester stereo systems now feature Dolby Atmos spatial audio.

In 2025, the GTS model joined the Cayenne lineup, which was racier and incorporated a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V-8 like the Cayenne S but added 25 HP more. It also inherited some performance-enhancing features from the Turbo GT.

Here’s a comprehensive comparison you would like between the Cayenne 2026 and 2025.

Overview

While the 2025 Porsche Cayenne set the benchmark for driving dynamics, the 2026 version is more practical and aligned with road manners. Both are luxury mid-sized crossover vehicles, light on their feet, with brisk, searing acceleration in the 2026 model, delivered by the turbocharged V-6 or twin-turbo V-8. In the current year, you will find a lot of advanced technology and space within the cabin of the Porsche Cayenne.

Performance

Here are the engines you will find in the 2026 and 2025 Porsche Cayenne

  • 348-hp turbocharged 3.0-liter V-6 - nonhybrid Cayenne
  • 468-hp twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 - Cayenne S
  • 493-hp twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 - GTS
  • 650-hp twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 - Cayenne Turbo GT Coupe

All trims are 8-speed automatic and AWD.

Here’s a special mention for the Cayenne Turbo GT Coupe – it has massive brakes, a well-tuned and unique suspension and incorporates other light-weight components. The Cayenne S flows like a seasoned athlete, while the GTS is more than just the driver’s car. Besides, you will also find standard adaptive dampers across the trims, as well as additional performance options, including an adjustable air suspension, active anti-roll bars for better, flatter cornering, and improved maneuverability with rear-wheel steering.

Interior

On both the 2025 and 2026 Cayenne models, you will get a dashboard with three screens and a dashboard-mounted toggle shifter. You can personalize the cabin according to your tastes – from the seatbelt colors to the interior trims and surface materials – each of these can be selected individually, including heated and ventilated front and rear seats, front seats with massage and four-zone climate control. Plenty of stretch-out space is available on the Porsche Cayenne’s back seat.

Infotainment

Holding almost the same denominations in terms of infotainment and tech, both models come with:

  • 12.3-inch touchscreen
  • 12.6-inch gauge display
  • Bluetooth Connectivity
  • Wireless Apple CarPlay
  • Wireless Android Auto
  • 10-speaker stereo
  • 14-speaker Bose stereo
  • 21-speaker Burmester stereo

There’s a wall of digital displays at the front, spanning the entire width of the dashboard. Amazon Alexa has been included to serve as an assistant. Users can also customize the infotainment system. While the 10-speaker system is standard, two premium audio systems from Bose and Burmester, upgraded with Dolby Atmos spatial audio, are available.
